You know that transition period when summer break is over, but fall hasn't quite started yet?  The heat of summer cools down a few degrees, but it doesn't feel like Fall yet.  In Florida this subtle drop in temperature ushers in the rain and marks the beginning of hurricane season.  School has started and moms begin inviting other moms over for coffee or tea (if they work from home).  Missing summer, I combined coppers & golds with blue for a beachy - fall vibe.  I added the teardrop shaped hoops and was taken back at how much they elvated the simple beaded pendants.
 
Adding the outer layer made it much more tricky getting the pendants to match in length.  Since they are handmade, no two are alike and consistancy is challenging.  It takes extra wire, because some are sacrificed to acheive the result that you see before you.
